Vetiver Java by Perris Monte Carlo is an elegant and magnetic perfume, a unique interpretation of the vetiver note. A fresh opening of Calabrian Bergamot, Grapefruit, and Timur Pepper immediately gives way to the intense, woody heart of Java Vetiver, unusually accompanied by the floral accents of Geranium Absolute. Amber and musk notes provide a warm and intense finish.

Until I focused on the Vetiver from the island of Java, the least used, which I found intriguing, more pungent, edgy, smoky, almost burnt, and with surprising floral, green, and spicy nuances.
