Blood orange or blood orange essential oil had never been highly prized in perfumery. But here our history crosses that of the Capua company, which since 1880 has represented Italian excellence in the extraction of citrus essences, and everything changes. Capua, who shares perfume with us as a family passion, has developed a two-stage extraction method. It is one of those hidden masterpieces that shine here and there, especially in southern Italy, and which deserves to be told. First, the essential oil of peel only, brown and concentrated, is extracted; then, when ripening is at its peak, it is the turn of the whole fruits which are pressed, passed through a blender extractor, and finally centrifuged to separate the essential oil from the juice. Our Sicilian Orange was born like this, as a perfect idealization of a symbolic fruit that brings together the sun, the colors and the scent of the island on a spring morning. To allow you to fully feel not only the sweetness, but also the energy that comes from the deep layers of the earth, we have placed Musk and Amber in the heart and, finally, an intense aroma of Coffee Absolute.
