The fragrance and the film of the same name tell a story that takes the complicated feelings that destitute workers harbor toward their employers and leads them into a true symphony of respect and contempt. Parasite Eau de Parfum opens with a note of freshly cut grass and continues with a shower of freesia and lily of the valley, while smiles turn into grimaces as the real world spills onto the manicured lawn. The richness of patchouli and smoky guaiac wood expresses the tender reflection on family love that emerges and the bitter, all-too-late realization that one cannot buy a home.
