Michel Gondry's 2013 film tells of the relationship between a man and a woman... who is the embodiment of a Duke Ellington song. Jazz obviously permeates the entire film. The love story turns into a tragedy when a lotus begins to grow in the woman's lungs. So does the Mood Indigo Eau de Parfum fragrance: from bright and airy, it becomes dark and intense. The aromatic top notes give way to woody and incense notes, playing with cinematic sensations.
Founded in 2016, the cult brand Moth and Rabbit (M.A.R.) is a contemporary perfumery project based in Berlin and Paris. The olfactory stories revolve around the representation of contemporary society. Exceptional directors serve as inspiration for legendary perfumer Mark Buxton, who creates an exclusive olfactory product. The raw and minimal, yet elegant, black packaging completes the equation and the multisensory experience.
