L'acetato di vetiver potrebbe essere descritto come una molecola ibrida, metà sintetica e metà naturale. È una frazione di olio di vetiver distillata dalle radici di un'erba indiana, che viene poi "incrociata" con acido acetico per rimuovere le note amare e coriacee della radice.
In India, l'essenza di vetiver era un antico ingrediente per profumi ed era definito "l'olio della tranquillità". Il vetiver è noto per ridurre l'ansia e promuovere la chiarezza mentale attraverso i poteri confortanti e stimolanti della sua aura.
Per Molecule 03, Geza ha dato un tocco modernista all'acetato di vetiver, la raffinata nota di vetiver celebrata per le sue sfaccettature terrose e affumicate e la sua natura ricca e avvolgente. Pensate all'erba non tagliata in una giornata calda, o immaginate una foresta confusa con calde note balsamiche, e avrete un'idea del profumo del vetiver.
"Conosciamo tutti il fascino della vaniglia, del pompelmo e del muschio, ma alcuni ingredienti richiedono tempo per essere compresi. Il vetiver è uno di questi. È un ingrediente della Marmite; o lo ami o lo rifiuti. Io lo adoro", afferma Geza Schoen. "La molecola 03 ha la complessità necessaria per essere indipendente perché è per metà naturale. L'acetilazione esalta il tocco di pompelmo del vetiver, conferendogli una nota di testa amara e fresca più pronunciata. Questo lo adoro, soprattutto per il modo in cui il pompelmo si fonde con il carattere legnoso e caldo del vetiver stesso."
