I was mesmerized by the grandeur, the statues, and the cultural heritage, which spans more than 5000 years. I started discovering more, reading books, and ended up discovering through images the palace by the name of Golestan in Tehran. The palace, also known as the Rose Garden Palace, built in the 16th century, with its ornamental and figurative tile paintings, was pure inspiration. Golestan literally translates to city of flowers or flower garden.
Although I haven't been able to travel to Iran so far, I created a perfume that takes me there. It is an invitation to breathe in the scented air of a flower garden, in freedom.
